CLASS TAILGATE AT THE HARVARD-CORNELL FOOTBALL GAME
OCTOBER 8, 2016
Kickoff at 1:00 PM, Tailgate at 10:30 AM
We will have a Class Tailgate at the Harvard-Cornell football game in Cambridge on October 8, 2016. This will be our Third Annual Class Tailgate, which we started in 2014 to begin our 50th Reunion Celebration in 2015. We plan to continue this fun tradition on into the future. The time of the kick-off is 1:00 PM. The tailgate will start at 10:30 AM. The tailgate will be held in the parking lot directly behind the closed end of the Stadium, a great location.
The tailgate will be casual and informal with the emphasis on fun and camaraderie. We will serve simple tailgate fare consisting of grinder sandwiches, potato chips, brownies, beer, wine, water and soft drinks. We will have our traditional Class toast and sing a medley of Harvard football songs as we did at our 50th Reunion. I like to refer to that medley as our 50th Reunion Medley. The tailgate is open to classmates and guests. The cost will be approximately $15.00-$20.00 per person for the tailgate and $15.00-$20.00 per person for the ticket to the game. (If 20 people attend, we get the group ticket rate of $15.00 per ticket. If not, we pay $20.00 per ticket). Tickets for children under 12 and students will cost $10.00, or $5.00 if we qualify for the group rate. We will sit together in the area of the Harvard Band where we can enjoy their wonderful music during the game. This should be an exciting and interesting game as Harvard with a relatively young team begins its quest to defend its Ivy League Championship.
More details on the football game and tailgate are to follow. If you are interested in attending the game and tailgate, please contact Gene Skowronski at firstname.lastname@example.org or by work phone at 203-734-3315 or by cellphone at 203-305-5754.
We celebrated our 50th Reunion in grand style. We would like to keep the friendship, camaraderie and momentum going and support our great Harvard Football team at our Class Tailgate on October 8th. We hope you will join us.
