Women's expectations and experiences have changed so much in our lifetime . . . . 

The lounge of the  Harvard College Women's Center, in the basement of Canaday Hall B entry (north side of Harvard Yard), will be open from 12:00 on for Radcliffe '65s who would like to sit, rest or chat, eat their box lunches, browse the bulletin boards and handouts,  and/or just trip down memory lane to a restroom in a basement in Harvard Yard. The Center has been involved in an incredible number and variety of campus initiatives  that draw together and serve students with an incredible number and variety of interests and concerns.  (Women in Business,  Queer Students and Allies, Latinas Unidas, and a knitting group illustrate only some of the range.  Check out the Center at

Conversation with Radcliffe classmates about the courses our own lives have taken --remember the one we had at our 25th reunion?--facilitated by our classmate Nancy Chodorow,  sociologist and psychoanalyst, author of four books--the classic The Reproduction of Mothering;  The Power of Feelings: Personal Meaning in Psychoanalysis, Gender and Culture;   Feminism and Psychoanalytic Theory;  and Femininities, Masculinities, and Sexualities-- and many articles about psychology, culture and gender.  Refreshments will be served.

5:00-6:00      Radcliffe Gym remains open for informal discussions and conversation.
